By car. The A4 motorway passes nearby, making Schwyz straightforward from Zurich and Lucerne. In good weather the roads up to the Mythen and Stoos areas are busy; use public transport if you plan a linear walk.
For Hoch-Ybrig. Travellers heading to Hoch-Ybrig usually change here or at Einsiedeln for buses into the valley, which is why Schwyz appears in many mountain-route directions.
