Getting There

By train. Spiez is a major rail junction between Bern, Thun, Interlaken, the Lötschberg route, and the Simmental. Trains from Bern take around half an hour, and Interlaken is usually less than 25 minutes away.

By boat. Lake Thun boats call at Spiez in season, linking the town with Thun, Oberhofen, Beatenbucht, and Interlaken West. Arriving by boat is slower but much more memorable than arriving by road.

By car. The A6/A8 corridor makes access straightforward, though parking near the harbour fills quickly on warm weekends.
