Spiez Bay is the town's open-air sitting room: boats at the pier, swimmers in summer, café terraces, and a constant backdrop of lake and Alps. It is easy to underrate because nothing complicated happens here.
Take time anyway. The bay is what makes Spiez more than a station, and it is the best place to decide whether to continue by boat to Thun or Interlaken.
