The House of Sculptor Holovan is Lutsk's oddest landmark: a private house and studio covered with hundreds of stone carvings. Figures crowd the walls, roofline, courtyard, and entrance, mixing saints, animals, faces, family symbols, and theatrical fragments into one dense personal world.
It is sometimes compared to Kyiv's House with Chimaeras, but the mood is different. This is less an Art Nouveau set piece than one sculptor's life work, still sitting in a quiet residential corner near the Styr. Even from outside, it is worth the short detour from the old town.
