Luton has a genuinely diverse food scene, largely thanks to its established South Asian, Caribbean, and Portuguese communities. The Bury Park area is particularly notable for its concentration of Bangladeshi, Pakistani, and Indian restaurants. Caribbean and Portuguese options can also be found around the town centre. It is one of those places where the best food is well off the tourist trail.
