Old Bailey

The Old Bailey, formally the Central Criminal Court, has been London's best-known criminal court for centuries. The present building dates mainly from 1907 and stands on the site of Newgate Prison.

It is still a working court, not a museum, but public galleries are normally open for suitable cases. Expect airport-style restrictions and leave bags, cameras, food, drink, and phones elsewhere before trying to enter.
