Berkhamsted is on the West Coast Main Line, with London Northwestern Railway services running from London Euston in around 35 minutes. The station sits just below the castle ruins, a five-minute walk from the High Street. By car, the town is reached from junction 20 of the M25 via the A4251, or directly from London on the A41.
