Hastings is served by trains from London Charing Cross and London Bridge, taking between 90 minutes and two hours depending on the service. The main Hastings railway station is in the town centre, a ten-minute walk from the seafront. Change at Eastbourne or Battle for some services.
By car, Hastings is about 65 miles south-east of London via the A21. The journey takes around 90 minutes in normal traffic. Parking in the town centre can be difficult in summer — the seafront car parks fill early on fine days.
