Tunbridge Wells is one of the easier south-eastern towns to reach from London. Trains run every fifteen minutes from London Charing Cross and London Bridge to Tunbridge Wells station, taking about 50 minutes from Charing Cross and 40 from London Bridge. The same line continues to Hastings on the south coast.
By road, the town sits on the A21 between London (about 35 miles to the north) and Hastings. The nearest international airport is London Gatwick, 25 miles to the west via the A264.
