The De Havilland Aircraft Museum focuses on one of Britain's great aircraft makers and is especially known for its Mosquito collection. Visitors can get close to three examples of the wooden wartime aircraft, including the prototype.
The museum is at London Colney, outside Watford, and works best for travellers with a specific interest in aviation or Second World War engineering. It is a hands-on contrast to the bigger studio and theme attractions in the area.
