Kingston Lacy is a large country house and estate long owned by the Bankes family and now run by the National Trust. The house holds paintings, furniture, and Egyptian artefacts gathered over several centuries.
It is one of the stronger day-out options around Blandford and Poole, with enough in the house and grounds to justify more than a quick stop.
