Remains of a German Heinkel 111H bomber

This lonely crash site on Lundy marks one of two German Heinkel bomber crashes on the island during World War II. Most of the wreckage has been removed over the years, but scattered remains can still be seen on the ground.

It is a small, atmospheric stop rather than a museum, best folded into a walk across the island's wilder northern half.
