South Lighthouse is one of the two lights that replaced Old Light's unreliable high beam. It sits near the southern end of the island, much closer to the sea and more useful to passing ships.
For visitors, it works as part of the first or last loop around the landing side. Pair it with Marisco Castle and the views down toward the jetty.
