A long ribbon of public park running from the back of Torre Abbey down to the seafront on Torre Abbey Sands. The southern half is open grass and palms — pleasant for a picnic and surprisingly empty even on busy summer days — and the northern half is more wooded, with mature trees and the historic abbey gardens beyond.
A useful place to break a seafront walk, and one of the few green spaces in central Torquay big enough to feel like a real park.
