Leamington Spa Art Gallery and Museum

Housed within the Royal Pump Rooms, Leamington's art gallery punches above its weight for a town of this size. The permanent collection includes Dutch and Flemish old masters — particularly notable for a provincial English gallery — alongside works by British artists from the eighteenth century to the present day.

The museum section covers the history of the spa town, with displays on the Georgian and Victorian eras that made Leamington famous. There are exhibits on the social life of the spa, including who came to take the waters and why, and a section on the town's more recent history including its role in World War Two. Entry is free. The gallery also runs a programme of temporary exhibitions.
