Stafford sits on the West Coast Main Line, with direct trains to Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, London, and Stoke-on-Trent. The station is just west of the town centre, close enough to walk in about ten minutes.
Drivers reach Stafford from the M6 at junctions 13 or 14. Parking is easier than in the larger Midlands cities, though the ring road can be clumsy at rush hour.
