The Mechanical Art and Design Museum, usually called the MAD Museum, is a compact museum of kinetic art, automata, and mechanical sculpture. Expect gears, chains, rolling balls, and hand-built contraptions that are more playful than formal.
It is a good family-friendly counterpoint to Stratford-upon-Avon's Shakespeare sights.
