RSPB Bempton Cliffs is the headline nature stop near Bridlington. Viewing platforms look out over sheer chalk cliffs packed with seabirds, including gannets, kittiwakes, razorbills, guillemots, and, in season, puffins.
The reserve is easy to visit, with a visitor centre and paths along the cliff top. Bring binoculars if you have them, and keep children close to the barriers; the drop is serious.
