Yorkshire Wildlife Park is one of Doncaster’s biggest family attractions, set outside the town with large enclosures and a full-day scale. It is better thought of as a wildlife park than a compact municipal zoo, with walking routes between animal areas.
The park is most useful for travellers with children or anyone breaking a Yorkshire itinerary with an easy, outdoorsy day. Check feeding times and seasonal hours before going, and allow more time than you would for a small city museum.
