Beck Isle Museum is a local history museum in Pickering, set in a Georgian building that was long used as a medical practice. Its rooms focus on everyday life in the North York Moors area, especially the Victorian period.
The displays are strongest on domestic life, shops, trades, farming, and early photography. It is an easy add-on before or after the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, whose Pickering station is a short walk away.
