Hubberholme is a small hamlet just up the dale from Buckden, centred on St Michael and All Angels Church and the old George Inn. The church is Norman in origin and feels right for the valley: plain, old, and tucked into the green fold of the dale.
The ashes of writer J. B. Priestley are buried here. It is a gentle stop on the lower walking loop through Buckden, Cray, and Hubberholme.
