The Falls of Feugh are not high, but they are wonderfully placed: a short walk or drive from Banchory, where the Water of Feugh breaks over rocks before joining the Dee. Come after rain for the water, or in the salmon-running seasons for the chance of seeing fish throw themselves upstream.
It is a simple stop, best treated as part of a walk rather than a destination that fills an afternoon. The bridge and riverbanks give the best views.
