A long stretch of golden sand extending east from Fraserburgh harbour for about a mile, ending where the Waters of Philorth flow into the sea at a small nature reserve. The beach is backed by impressive dunes and is one of the finest on Aberdeenshire's northeast coast. It's popular with walkers year-round and rarely crowded, even in summer.
