Cairngorms Activities, just south of Grantown, is the local centre for guided outdoor days such as gorge walking, canoeing, archery, and other family-friendly activities. It is useful if the weather, river level, or group confidence makes a guided outing wiser than heading off alone.
For independent travelers, the surrounding Spey valley paths are the better value. For families, this can make a Grantown day much easier.
