Arctic Convoy Museum

The Arctic Convoy Museum tells the story of the Second World War convoys that sailed from Loch Ewe toward Murmansk and Archangelsk. Ships gathered here before crossing dangerous Arctic seas to supply the Soviet Union, escorted by warships and protected by shore defences around the loch.

The museum is small but focused, and it gives a strong sense of why this quiet west-coast anchorage mattered in the war.
