Cosmeston Medieval Village is a reconstructed 14th-century village beside Cosmeston Lakes, south of Cardiff. The thatched buildings, yards, and simple interiors are set up to show daily peasant life in the late Middle Ages rather than castle or court history.
It is best visited when demonstrations or reenactment events are running, but the village still works as a family-friendly historical stop with the country park and lakes next door.
