The Norwegian Church was built for the sailors who worked Cardiff's docks when the port was one of the busiest in the world. Its best-known local story is that Roald Dahl was christened here, a reminder of the city's Scandinavian maritime ties. Today the white timber church works as a cafe and arts space on Cardiff Bay.
