Llandrindod Wells Lake is a simple local pleasure: a small sheet of water south-east of the centre, with a walking loop, ducks, anglers, and enough space to make the town feel less inland than it is.
It pairs well with Rock Park and the museum if you are giving the town a few hours. Do not expect wilderness; this is a town lake, useful precisely because it is easy.
