Rock Park is the green pocket that gives Llandrindod Wells some of its old spa-town character. Paths drop through woodland toward Lovers' Leap above the River Ithon, making it an easy place to stretch your legs after a train or car journey.
It is a quiet sight rather than a spectacular one. Come for shade, birdsong, and a reminder that the town's original appeal was health, air, and scenery as much as mineral water.
