Carreg Bica

Tooth-shaped sea stack on Llangrannog beach, tied to a local giant legend.

Carreg Bica is the pointed rock that divides Llangrannog's main beach from Cilborth Beach. Geologically it is a sea-weathered stack; locally it is better known through the story that it was the tooth of the giant Bica, spat onto the beach after toothache.

It is a small sight, but a good one. The rock gives the beach its profile, makes an obvious marker for photos, and adds a bit of local myth to an already handsome cove.
