Set in what is reckoned to be one of the oldest buildings in Tenby — parts of the cellar are said to be 10th-century — Plantagenet House is the town's most atmospheric place for dinner. The dining room is built around an enormous Flemish chimney, which alone is worth the visit. The menu is short, ambitious, and leans on Welsh ingredients: Pembrokeshire beef, locally landed fish, Welsh lamb. Booking essential in season.
