Major museum of western Canadian history and indigenous cultures

One of Canada's largest museums, housed in a modern building in downtown Calgary, with permanent galleries covering the history of western Canada from indigenous cultures through European settlement and the building of the Canadian Pacific Railway. The collections include extensive First Nations material, western Canadian art, and historical artefacts. Located two blocks south of the C-Train line.
