Manor Cafe occupies a 1929 house in the Glenora neighbourhood, west of downtown, and serves an eclectic fusion menu that moves between Asian, European, and Canadian influences: Asian prawn salad, Indonesian spring rolls, smoked salmon pasta, schnitzel, jambalaya. The historic house setting — rooms with original woodwork, different scales and atmospheres — gives it a character that purpose-built restaurant spaces rarely achieve.
Glenora is one of Edmonton's most established residential neighbourhoods, and Manor Cafe is the kind of neighbourhood restaurant that has outlasted multiple generations of trendier openings downtown. Open for lunch and dinner; the Sunday hours are dinner only.
