A long, narrow warm-water lake about 20 km east of Grand Forks on Highway 3. The water is reputedly the warmest swimming lake in British Columbia, and the small resort village at its southern end is a popular weekend destination for Kootenay families.
The Badger Trail above the village offers a short 2.3 km walk to a panoramic viewpoint over the lake. Boat rentals, a small beach, and a string of summer cottages line the southern shore.
