Red Collar Brewing is one of three craft breweries in central Kamloops and the easiest to walk to from downtown. The taproom is a converted warehouse with long communal tables, a small patio overlooking the river, and a row of eight to ten taps that rotate frequently — the West Coast IPA and the German-style lagers are usually worth seeking out.
A short food menu of burgers, salads and shareable boards keeps the place useful at meal times. Live music on weekends; the place is busiest from about 7pm onwards. The brewery sits near the rail station at the western end of downtown — five minutes' walk from Victoria Street.
