Terra is a long-standing fixture on Victoria Street and one of the more reliable upmarket-ish restaurants in central Kamloops. The kitchen does a polished modern-Canadian menu with strong BC sourcing — Pacific halibut, Okanagan duck, local mushrooms, Thompson Valley beef — and the wine list is one of the better selections of BC interior wineries (Nk'Mip, Burrowing Owl, Quails' Gate) anywhere in the city.
The room is dark wood and white tablecloths, the service unfussy. Mid-week dinners are quiet; book ahead for Friday and Saturday nights. A useful default for a date-night dinner.
