Vancouver International Airport is in Richmond, on Sea Island adjacent to the main city. From the airport, the Canada Line SkyTrain runs to downtown Vancouver in about 26 minutes, with stops at Richmond–Brighouse (the city centre) and a few other stations along the way. The train runs frequently and is the obvious way to get to Richmond from the airport or downtown Vancouver. By car, Richmond is 20–30 minutes from downtown Vancouver via the Arthur Laing or Oak Street bridges, with traffic adding significantly in rush hour.
