Vancouver House

Vancouver House is one of the city's most eye-catching recent towers, squeezed into a difficult site near the Granville Bridge. Its narrow triangular base widens as it rises, giving the building a strange, shifting profile from different angles.

You do not need to make a special trip for it, but it is worth noticing if you are walking between downtown, Yaletown, and Granville Island. Vancouver has plenty of glass towers; this one has a bit more nerve.
