Getting Around

Whistler Village is compact and car-free, so getting around on foot is the default. The village, Village North, and Upper Village are all connected by pedestrian paths and plazas, and the gondola bases for both Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb are within walking distance of nearly every accommodation.

The Valley Trail is a paved multi-use path that runs through the entire Whistler valley, connecting the village to the lakes, parks, and residential areas. It's excellent for cycling and covers about 40 kilometres in total. Bikes are available for rent from numerous shops in the village. A free shuttle bus called the Village Connector circulates between the main resort areas during ski season; in summer, Whistler Transit operates bus routes covering the valley. If you have a car, parking is available in the day lots, though it fills early on busy ski days.
