The New Brunswick Botanical Garden is Edmundston's clearest destination-quality attraction. Its themed gardens, mosaiculture displays, and summer planting make it more than a quick roadside garden, especially by the standards of a small border city.
It sits east of the centre near Republique Provincial Park, so it is easiest by car. In season, give it enough time to wander rather than treating it as a photo stop.
