Centennial Park

460-acre wooded park with trails, swimming pond, and winter cross-country skiing

Address 811 St George Blvd, Moncton, NB

Centennial Park is Moncton's biggest green space — 460 acres of mixed forest, walking trails, a small swimming pond with a sand beach, a duck pond, tennis courts, and a play area for children. Established to mark Canada's centenary in 1967, it sits on the west side of the city and is easy to reach by bike or car.

In winter the trail network is groomed for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing; in summer it is a fine place for a couple of hours of easy walking. The lake supports paddle boats in season. A good option for a quiet afternoon away from the bore park and downtown.
