Tidal Bore Park is Moncton’s straightforward viewing spot for one of the Bay of Fundy’s stranger daily performances: the tidal bore pushing up the Petitcodiac River. The wave can be modest or impressive depending on tide and conditions, but the idea of a river visibly reversing itself is still worth seeing.
Check the tide time before you go; arriving randomly is the surest way to be underwhelmed. The park is simple, central, and best treated as a timed stop on a riverfront walk rather than a full attraction.
