Terra Nova sits on the Trans-Canada Highway in eastern Newfoundland, about three hours from St. John's and roughly two hours from Gander. A car is the normal way to visit.
The park has several roadside access points, but trailheads and campgrounds are spread out. Fuel up in nearby communities such as Glovertown or Port Blandford rather than assuming services are inside the park.
