Southwest Arm gives Terra Nova one of its classic saltwater views: narrow water, wooded slopes, and a coastline that folds in on itself. It is more about atmosphere than a single postcard sight.
Use it as a reason to slow down near Malady Head and the campground area. The park rewards people who stop at small pullouts and look properly.
