Ochre Hill is the park's best quick viewpoint, reached by a moderate trail from Ochre Hill Road. From the lookout you get the layered Terra Nova view: forest, bog, Clode Sound, Bread Cove, and low blue hills.
Parks Canada lists the trailhead near 48 30 32.25 N, 53 54 54.61 W, and the route can be wet in spots. It is worth doing early in a visit because it explains the park's geography at a glance.
