Lions Lookout is a short, satisfying climb to one of Huntsville's classic views. From the top you can see Fairy Lake, the town below, and the rolling Muskoka landscape that draws people north from Toronto.
It is especially good in autumn, when the hardwood forest turns colour, but it is useful in any clear season as an orientation point. Bring a camera, watch for traffic on the access road, and combine it with a walk through downtown Huntsville.
