Sarnia Bay is the protected harbour just south of downtown, home to one of the larger marinas on the Great Lakes. The bay itself is a useful destination for an evening walk — sailboats moored two and three deep, an open lawn for the family, and the Stones N Bones Museum's quirky private collection of fossils and rocks at the water's edge.
The marina restaurants serve standard waterfront pub food but the view across the bay and out to Lake Huron is the draw. Free parking, easy access to the boardwalk that runs north all the way to Point Edward.
