The Spar Mica Trail, also called the Cap Feldspath mine trail, runs east of the village through forest and toward old feldspar workings. The route is not hard, but it feels wonderfully raw: burned woods, white rock, quartz, mica, and open Gulf views near the coast.
Come for the mix of geology and emptiness rather than a polished park experience. The trail is roughly 7 km return, so it works as a half-day outing if the weather is clear.
