St-Zephirin Presbytery and Church

St-Zephirin Church is La Tuque's main historic church, built in 1930 to designs by architect Heldwige Laberge. Its mid-Renaissance and Roman-inspired details give the town centre a more formal landmark than most of the surrounding low-rise streets.

The adjacent presbytery is part of the same ensemble. It is a modest stop, but worth adding to a walk through central La Tuque before heading out to the nearby waterfall park or the Upper Saint-Maurice countryside.
