Domaine Forget is the reason many travellers know Saint-Irénée at all. The estate hosts an international music and dance academy, a summer festival, and a varied programme of concerts, theatre, jazz, and dance in a hall known for its acoustics.
Even without a ticket, the site is worth visiting for the sculpture garden and the views from the hillside above the St. Lawrence. Check the calendar before coming; a good concert here can turn a scenic Charlevoix drive into a memorable evening.
